News 12 Weather App Reviews

Well folks, I wouldnt blame you one bit if you said I was making this stuff up...BUT... I myself cant believe my first experience with this app. After years of torture held hostage by what I consider the most consumer-hostile company I have ever had the misfortune of meeting: THIS APP WORKS PERFECTLY!!! I was able to login seamlessly, the app instantly recognized my previous settings from the news 12 main app, transferred everything with no problems--it even pinpointed my home location--even though Im several miles from home! The app even opened instantly the very first time. Optimum, freeze this app, sequester its developers, and whatever the hell they did to get this app to rise to a level of perfection that transcends most of the apps on my iPhone 5c (iOS 9.3.3), on pain of immediate transfer to Optimum Siberia, to apply their gifts across the board to this otherwise misbegotten excuse for a telecom company--and who knows? The result just might be able to stand up to Fios in certain underserved markets. This app even transfers effortlessly between itself and the main app bidirectionally without missing a beat. From start to finish, this is intended to be a dead level serious, carefully considered review. I stand behind every single word Ive said. If you want to experience perfection in a scientific app, one of the more challenging to design, you should experience it here. My name is Daniel Shaw, and I approve this message.

This app is better than waiting for the weather information.this app can tell you right away of the weather outside.

The app does not work with iOS 8, it will get to the load screen, and than say error.

I wouldve given you a zero but you had to give one star to give a review. There is no where to sign in if you are already a Comcast subscriber. The three apps are absolutely no good unless you can get into them. Whats the secret? Care to share?

You cannot access these apps using your comcast email and password. What is the point of not gaining access to free apps for weather, news and traffic. This is not user friendly AT ALL!!

All this app ever shows is the opening screen with its logo. Ive tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, etc. It never does anything. Ive had it open so long that my iPad shut down while waiting for it to respond. Whats the point of an app that does NOTHING? Btw, I am a Cablevision user so my problem is different than that of Comcast users. App support is a joke, too. Ive never gotten a response. It bounces you to a general News12 contact page. Theres no option for app support and general tech support doesnt respond to emails.

This is a great app. Once it opens you either have to register with your Comcast email or if you are already registered for news 12 you use that login and password. It is not the password for your email, but the password youre registered on news 12 with. The weather and traffic section is great! you can see where the traffic is before you get on the road.

App does pretty much everything its supposed to do, some bugs but no major complaints good app

Downloaded the app onto my iPhone 6 running iOS 8.1.3 and it bombs almost the instant I attempt to open the app. Useless

Every time I go to look at this app, it crashes the first time I try to open it. Fix please!

This app is great. You can watch the most recent video of weather in your area. You can then click on a separate section and look at the traffic report. You can look at a map with the real-time motion of the weather. You can also look at the end of day forecast. Great job guys!

It constantly freezes. Ive never had one single video work all the way through. Just plain annoying!!!

Have to enter my email account at Comcast. forget you forget your app

This App locks up and closes when opening or switching pages. If it doesnt lock up, it takes 10 seconds to load and then closes when you switch pages. Ive seen the same experience on other phones. Waste of time. I have no problem with other apps. It needs to be redeveloped! Junk!

How to log in for Comcast subscriber. Enter your Comcast user email address in the spot for optimum users. Then enter your password. If it does not work try resetting your password. If that doesnt work dial 866-394-7236 for technical support. Hope this helps?!

Worked great with iOS 7 and 8 but wont load with iOS 9.
